Public company profiles
What a company's public page in the Brivio directory shows, and what changes when the holder is a natural person (PFA, II, IF).
The Brivio public directory has a page for every company in the public registries, at brivio.ro/firme/<CUI>. The page shows data from the trade register and from ANAF: the name, the activity code, the tax status, filed financial statements and the locality.
Where the data comes from
We use official, public sources only: ANAF (its public web service and balance-sheet service), the ONRC and Ministry of Finance open datasets on data.gov.ro, SEAP/SICAP and TED for public procurement, the courts portal, the official sanctions lists (EU, OFAC, UK, UN), the National Bank of Romania and the legislative portal. FirmeAPI and the ONRC RECOM service are used only when configured. We do not scrape other company directories. The complete list is on the Methodology page.
Sole traders and individual or family enterprises
A PFA (sole trader), an individual enterprise (II) or a family enterprise (IF) has a CUI, but the holder is a natural person. For these profiles the page:
- shows only the locality and county, with no street, number, block or flat;
- does not show a phone number, fax, e-mail, IBAN or map position;
- does not show associates, registry mentions or the address history;
- takes no reviews and shows no rating;
- is not indexed by search engines and is left out of the sitemap;
- publishes no structured data (JSON-LD) about the holder.
Prospecting targets legal persons only
A PFA, II or IF cannot be added from a prospecting search to your contacts or to a campaign list, and cannot receive a Brivio Connect invitation. Their phone and e-mail appear neither in search results nor in exports. The reason: an unsolicited commercial message to a natural person needs their prior consent (Romanian Law 506/2004, art. 12).
How to object to the profile
If you are the holder, open the profile and select "Are you the holder? Object to this profile" in the contact section. The form is prefilled with your CUI. No account is needed. The request goes into the data-subject request register (GDPR art. 21) and you get a reply within one month.
You can send the same request from the GDPR page by choosing "Objection to processing".
